By Train

Although there is no direct train service between Rishikesh and Mussoorie, you can take a train from Rishikesh to Dehradun, the nearest railhead to Mussoorie. From Dehradun, you can either take a taxi or a bus to complete the final leg of the journey. The train journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, and the taxi from Dehradun to Mussoorie adds another 1 to 1.5 hours.
